What do you know about American government and history? Join assistant curator Rachel Winter, Ph.D., for a walking tour of Rayyane Tabet: 128 Civics Questions, a site-specific project developed with the artist for MSU. This artistic intervention unfolds throughout the MSU Broad Art Museum and across MSU’s campus.  

This event is in partnership with the MSU Broad Art Museum, MSU Libraries, and MSU Muslim Studies Program with additional support from MSU CHiLA (Chicanx/Latinx Association) and MSU Global Studies in the Arts and Humanities.  

On view Aug. 22, 2026–Mar. 14, 2027, Rayyane Tabet: 128 Civics Questions is an intervention that invites you to reflect on your knowledge of American history and what it means to become American 250 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
