An extra hour to celebrate! You’re invited to an exclusive Members + VIP Preview before our annual Winter Opening Party. Arrive early and enjoy the evening's festivities—new exhibitions, music, art-making activities, and more—an hour before the museum opens to the public.

Join us on Friday, Feb. 19, from 5–6pm for this special preview, then stay and continue the celebration during the public Winter Opening Party from 6–8pm.

This event celebrates the exhibitions Hamdia Traoré’s “Des marabouts de Djenné” and Muslim Portraiture in Mali (Feb. 12–Jul. 25, 2027), We Are This Land: Meditations on the Great American Experiment (Aug. 22, 2026–Mar. 14, 2027), Rayyane Tabet: 128 Civics Questions (Aug. 22, 2026–Mar. 14, 2027), and The Center for Object Research and Engagement (The CORE).

The 2026 Winter Opening Party is supported by MSUFCU.
